Hallmarks of a Transformed City ...

 

Pastors meet to pray together and for each other. Acts 1:14; 2:1


There is collaboration between churches/ market place for sustained citywide prayer on an on-going bases resulting in a hunger for Christ. Acts 2: 38-42


There is on-going prayer over institutions and leaders in the city. I Tim 2:1-3


Prayer addresses the historical roots of iniquity and sins of the society and the redemptive purposes of God for it. Acts 19:23-28/ 2 Cor 7:14,15


There are times of corporate intercession and worship often followed often an evidence of Christ’s presence in the city. Acts 2:42-43


There are designated prayer leaders on church and city levels and intercessors who function under pastoral oversight. Acts 4:23-31; 13:1-3


There is a communication system to mobilize prayer and to aid in the flow of information in the city. Acts 4:23/Nehemiah 4:19,20


There is collaboration between churches/ city leaders for community transformation and outreach efforts to share Christ in the city. Acts 13:1-3


There is a growing sense of the Church of the City and an emerging kingdom focus. Acts 13:44


There is a shift in civic government aligning itself with spiritual leadership marked by more Christians in public office. Acts 10:1-6.


There is an increase of collaboration between market place and the Church to impact the city for good. Acts 18:24-28
