CHRISTIANS
IN JERUSALEM FOR THREE-DAY CELEBRATION: Israel last
week hosted more than 200 Christian Zionist Leaders from the US
, Canada , England , Africa and Israel who came together to celebrate
Jerusalem 's 40 years of reunification. The visitors highlighted
their love and dedication to the State of Israel and presented a
letter of repentance asking forgiveness for crimes committed by
Christians against the Jews throughout history to members of the
Knesset. ( Israel Today)
ARABS
RENEW PEACE PLAN AT SAUDI SUMMIT: Speaking from the Saudi summit
on
March 28th, Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa
called on Israel to accept the 2002 unaltered Saudi plan
immediately. The plan was rejected by Israel several
years ago. The initiative offers
Israel normalization of relations with the Arab world
in exchange for a full withdrawal to 1967 lines
and the right of close to five
million Arab refugees (the original 711,000 refugees,
plus decedents) to return to Israel and claim immediate
citizenship; also the inclusion
of East Jerusalem in a Palestinian state. Hamas leaders
said they will not agree to recognition of Israel
or peace with it as it presented
in the Saudi Plan. It has no problem, however, with
the clause that calls for the establishment of
a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders
and the right of refugees to return. Once again Hamas
and others like it will accept Israel making all
of the concessions in return
for nothing but continued hatred, non recognition

OLMERT:
NO PALESTINIAN "RIGHT OF RETURN: Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert said following last week's Saudi Summit that Israel would
not accept the return to Israel of any Palestinian refugees. "It
is out of the question," he said. "I will never accept
a solution that is based on their return to Israel , in any number." (
Jerusalem Post)
IRAN,
SYRIA, HIZBALLAH PREPARING FOR SUMMER WAR: Intelligence head,
Maj. Gen.
Amos Yadlin told the Israeli Cabinet earlier this
week that Iran, Syria and Hizballah fear a US strike
against Iran this summer and are making defensive
preparations. Tensions continue
to mount against the Islamic Republic because of
its uncurbed nuclear enrichment program, defiance
against international sanctions and
the recent unlawful detention of 15 U.K. military
personnel. On another front, according to the intelligence
chief, Hizballah has
been keeping to a cease-fire thus far, because the
organization is not interested in getting into
another conflict with Israel .
He maintains Hizballah is busy preparing, like the
Syrians, for a possible bigger war with the U.S.
in the summer. (J.Post) "You

CESSPOOL
DISASTER IN GAZA WITH MORE TO COME: Pictures of what has
been called the Gaza Tsunami, reveal dozens of houses and buildings
swallowed up in foul black muck. Over 70 % of the village of Umm
Al Nasser in northern Gaza is buried in raw sewage and waste water
from a burst water treatment reservoir last week. At least five
are dead, dozens are injured and several hundred are missing as
a result of the disaster. John Ging, head of the UN relief and works
agency in Gaza said the UN published a report in 2004, predicting
the flood was inevitable unless a new waste treatment plant was
constructed. The worst is not over. Ging said a larger cesspool
in the area is overloaded and could collapse at any moment spilling
1.5 million cubic meters of waste water and sewage into the area
and causing an even bigger disaster. Notably, while Israel was rushing
aid to the area, Gaza based terrorists were shooting eight Kassam
rockets at Israeli population centers. (BBC/Arutz-7)
ARABS
WHO SOLD HOME TO HEBRON JEWS FACE DEATH PENALTY: Israel police
were satisfied after an investigation launched two weeks ago that
a piece of property called the Peace House located in Hebron was
legally sold by Arabs to Jews for the price of $700,000. In a tragic
slant to what in any free country should have been a normal, permissible
exchange of property for a fair price, the two Arabs involved in
the sale have recently been arrested and face the death penalty.
The Palestinian Authority imposes capital punishment for any Arab
found guilty of selling property to a Jew. (Arutz-7/IHC)
HAMAS
LEADER: ISLAM WILL SPREAD OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD: Days ago, senior Hamas
leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar at a mass rally in memory of
Hamas founder Ahmad Yassin, reminded followers that
the Quran promises the liberation of all Palestine (meaning Israel
's destruction).
He went on to say that anyone who denied this must
check his faith and his Islam. He further said that Islam will
enter every house
and will spread over the entire world. Many western
intellectuals and politicians claim that terrorists violence has
a political rather
than a religious root. This directly contradicts
the charters and statements made by these groups themselves, who
do not separate
religion from politics, and fight expressly in the
name of Allah. (Palestinian Media Watch) "The Lord foils the plans of the
nations; He thwarts the purposes of the peoples." Psalm 33:10
HAMAS
RECRUITS CHILDREN TO TERROR SQUADS VIA TV PROGRAMS: For the second time
in two weeks, the Hamas terrorist group has broadcast
a television program inviting children to participate
in terrorist violence. The first was a video clip of a four year
old actress
playing the part of suicide bomber Reem Riyashi's
daughter, in which she is singing to her dead mother and vowing
to follow in her footsteps.
A second video was broadcast earlier this week on
Hamas TV, glorifying Hamas founder, Ahmed Yassin. Children in
uniforms sported guns and
took part in military exercises. Lyrics in the background
contained such lines as: "These are the acts of the Martydom-Seekers;
its children carry the knife... Palestine , one of its leaders is
Ahmad Yassin; its children carry machine guns." (Arutz-7) "They
sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons." Psalm

NEW TOWN IN ISRAEL'S NEGEV: The Cabinet approved
earlier this week the establishment of a major
cluster of IDF bases in the south of the country
that will become home to a moving population of
11,000 soldiers, career officers and military families
during their years of service. The area will be
known as Bahadim. Israel 's prime minister said
the establishment of Bahadim City will create positive
change in the entire area, bring into existence
thousands of new jobs, and inspire quality people
to move to the south of the country. Defense Minister
Amir Peretz expects the city will also raise Israel
's defense security. (Arutz-7) "The desert
tribes will bow before him and his enemies will
lick the dust." Psalm 72:9
