Canopy Format & Strategy for 50 Day Prayer Walk

As we prepare to shift from praying through the Gateways
of Christianity to supporting the 50 Day Prayer Walk
by praying through the Districts, we need a new format
that puts focus on praying for each district and its
gates:
-I
have attempted to modify and simplify what we have been doing
below. Please look this over and let
me
know what you would like to see?
-I added a very simple strategy and shifted some
information to the end of the report so the reader
can get more
quickly to what matters most.
-I listed three main points for prayer in the gates
to keep it simple enough to follow. We can change
or add as you see the need.
-I have attached a copy of the Father's Love Letter
which can be downloaded or printed. It is not fancy
but is usable.
-You would need to generate a weekly District Report
for the 50 Day Prayer Walk. If you want to send it
to me, I can cut and paste and put it into the format
below so there is continuity in what we send out?
I will support whatever works for you.
-You would need someone on your end to generate a
report and some prayer points on each district. If
you don't
want to include the prayer points this is also fine?
(This is what was done in England) We could just
have a general report or overview of the District
with the
prayer strategy? Let me know what you think on we
should do to proceed? Check the dates for the 50
Day Walk
below and see if I have them right?

BLESS SCOTLAND – CANOPY OF PRAYER
50 DAY PRAYER WALK “FIRE IN THE GATES” Strategy: Identify
the gates of influence in the districts/counties and pray for
the Reign of Christ’s Kingdom in the Gates by:
1) Releasing
the Praise of God’s Name, 2) Proclaiming His
Word, and
2) Declaring of His Love in every Gate. This releases “Fire
In The Gates”
(How to identify the gates is given at the end of the report)
-A National 50 Day Prayer Walk through the districts of Scotland
beginning April 8th to 29th. See www.connectingscotland.com , www.prayforscotland.org
-The Scottish Christian Party is being launched which
we are praying for: www.missionscotland.org , www.christianparty.org
-Prayer for Israel will be extended by the Canopy
of Prayer with weekly updates. www.prayisrael.com/home.php
Example of a County/District Report
SOMERSET DISTRICT
Somerset is one of the ancient and oldest places in England - it
has some of the most ancient things and is reputed to have the oldest
settlement in England as well as the oldest church in Glastonbury
which is now more known for being a new age area than for Christianity.
The land in Somerset is somehow calling people to come and worship
God but as the church has also not put out this call so much many
of the people coming in to worship are worshipping other gods and
especially into witchcraft, new age and paganism. It is time for
the church there to arise and help all these coming in and upon
the land worship the one and only true God Jesus
PRAYER POINTS
1) pray for the church in Somerset to rise up and recognise the
harvest field of people around them that are spiritually minded
but into alternative spiritual things to God as they haven't seen
the true demonstration of God and His love from those who follow
Jesus enough to shift into entering the kingdom of God. Pray that
those
already involved in witnessing and sharing the gospel
with those involved in alternative spirituality will
have more "labourers" to
join them and be strengthened and encouraged in the
battles involved.
2) For the complacency in the church to continue to be shifted
and where there are encouraging pockets of church growth in different
areas that these are increased
3) For the young people in Somerset to be able to stay and get
jobs in the area and not to get into drugs and lawlessness that
is on the increase in these very countrified towns and villages.
For the Lord to Bless Food Bank a project for the
poor providing food clothing ,prayer and demonstrating God love
starting in Bath and North Somerset.
4) Pray for the large music and arts festival at Glastonbury to
receive more prayer and more attention from Christians who in the
majority let it happen and tend to stay away from the event. Pray
that those who go to the next event are able to bear much fruit
in terms of developing relationships and gain more influence in
to how
the event is governed and run.
5) Pray for the church in Glastonbury to be cleansed and revived
and the remnant there would even more rise up and make a difference
and overcome the negative spiritual forces so rife in the area.
HOW TO IDENTIFY THE GATES IN A DISTRICT/COUNTY
1. What are the gates of influence? Education, media, culture.
2. What are the gates of authority? Government, City
Halls, etc.
3. What are the major gates of commerce, entertainment,
business?
4. What are the major gates of access to the area?
5. Now make a list of these gates. Limit them to
the most important. They are to be visited with the strategy above.

Love Letter is attached to give out to people in the gates as
a way of releasing His Love in Scotland. (see www.fathersloveletter.com)
